If you can entertain me for just a minute I’d like to tell you about my local Chappy, Chappy John.  My little preppy Brooklyn just loves Chappy John, she says because he has a “story from his head” for every situation. 

But Chappy John is so much more to our school community- he is a key support for young minds, he seems to do every odd job around our school – you know setting up for sports day and cleaning up after the fete… and he even makes sure the children get away safely after school.

You can imagine my struggle with seeing Chappy John facing an annual funding shortfall, but as
